1969 SUPER SPORT CHEVELLE! ALL NUMBERS MATCHING BIG BLOCK SUPER SPORT THAT HAS BEEN FEATURED IN A MUSEUM AND HAS ONLY 391 MILES ON IT SINCE THE DAY IT WAS COMPLETED OVER A DECADE AGO!
What we have is a very clean, solid, 100% original sheet metal and complete numbers matching 396 Super Sport Chevelle. This car has sat for the better part of a decade in a climate controlled garage within a private collectors personal collection. This collector has quite the selection of cars but the ones that he holds near and dear to him are the ones that he keeps on sight at his residence.
This Chevelle is absolutely stunning and mechanically sound. It is correct in all aspects and after sitting for about ten years, we decided to take it out for a spin. A new battery, a shot of gas, and she was purring. The Chevelle drives out flawlessly and is as turn key as they come. As you will notice the Chevelle does retain all of its original equipment and has one of the most desirable color schemes.
Body: The body on this Chevelle is completely straight. There is no bondo, no replacement metal, just clean and original sheet metal. This Chevelle has only under gone one repaint and was done with the utmost care. It was done professionally and shines out beautifully. The trim and chrome through out the Chevelle is in good shape. The glass is all original and is also in good shape with no major blemishes. The bumpers are also in good shape. The vinly top is also in good shape. All of the weather stripping through out the entire car is also in good shape. The doors, windows, and trunk all seal up perfectly and with ease. The engine bay as you will notice is also in good shape and has all of its original components.
Engine & Mechanical: The motor within this Chevelle is in fact the original numbers matching big block 396/325 HP setup. It does not smoke, leak, or burn an excess amount of fluid. It is in excellent working order. It has less than 400 miles on it. The sound and feel that it gives off are absolutely tremendous. There is nothing on this planet that screams true muscle louder then this Chevelle. The automatic transmission is also in excellent working order and it too has less than 400 miles on it. It does not leak or burn an excess amount of fluid. The power steering setup is also in excellent working order with no leaks, squeaks, or any type of mechanical issues. The car does not pull or have much play when driving. The power brake setup is also in excellent working order. It does not leak, shimmy, or pull when stopping. All of the electrical components through out the Chevelle are also in excellent working order. This Chevelle would pass inspection anywhere in the country. The dome light, headlights, turn signals, brake lights, wipers, every single thing is in excellent working order.
Interior: From what we know of the Chevelle, the interior is actually all original. So in one aspect, the entire interior setup is of survivor quality and as you will see has been well cared for. The white is beginning to fade in areas but those items could easily be remedied. There are no rips or tears through out any of the seats. The dash pad is in good condition as is the instrument cluster and center console. The headliner is in good shape. The door panels are also in good shape. The only real problematic area is the passenger side arm rest is starting to show some wear.
