This is all rough and will be edited.

Elvis Presley, The King of Rock-n-Roll, may no longer be with us.. But his 1971 Plymouth 'Cuda is and it is one of the featured cars in this months issue of Mopar Action. So be sure to get out there and pick up your copy today!

This may be the very first time a car of this caliber has ever came on to the market as it was being featured internationally in one of the hottest publications on the planet. This Cuda has already received a tremendous amount of publicity due to it being purchased by the King of Rock'n Roll himself but there is more to this beautiful piece of art than just its previous ownership. It is the fact that this is a high caliber, turn key Cuda where no expense was spared.

I am actually selling this Cuda for the owner. He is some what burned out on how much attention this vehicle has obtained which is one of the reasons he is selling it. So if you have any interest in owning this Cuda, I would encourage you to please call 816.308.0351 and I will gladly answer any questions you might have. This next paragraph is from the owner himself and it high lights the history of this Cuda to where it stands today.

"You are viewing possibly that most talked about and rarest 1971 Plymouth 'Cuda on the planet.  This car is the centerfold of the Mopar Action Magazine June 2010 edition which is currently on the stand. I will explain as much of this Amazing vehicle's history as I know it.  For some years I had been on the hunt for a solid rust free 1971 Cuda.  My plans were to build a '71 Sassy Grass 440 4speed Resto-Cuda, But I wanted to wait for an original rust free garaged jewel. This one was brought to my attention in Feb. 2007. It was extremely clean and solid, so it fit the bill and I purchased this Cuda in March of 2007.  I knew I was buying a Real Cuda ("BS23H" code), I also knew that it did not have its original 340. Soon after purchasing this Cuda, the drive train swap was underway. My Muscle car Tech began the journey of removing the 340 Auto that was in the car, to upgrade to the all New built high performance 1971 correct date coded 440 4speed that was awaiting to be installed.  While pulling out the driver's seat and lifting up the carpet, he noticed a vehicle title hiding between the carpet and the floorpan.  He immediately called me and told me what he had found.  I stopped everything and met with him to find an old title that had this Cuda's information (VIN etc..) titled to Elvis A. Presley.  The title had a vehicle purchase date of 11/5/1971 and an issue date of 11/23/1971.  Our research began. I called Graceland several times as I explained the reason for my call, leaving my name and phone number. I was directed around to several departments when I finally spoke with someone from the Elvis Auto Museum.  I explained to the lady who answered, my findings.  She told me that if I would give her the make, model of the car that I owned, that she would call me back the next day with any information that she had.  After several days, I heard nothing.  I called again only to be put off by the same person as she told me that there was no definite findings on such vehicle.  I called the DMV of Ohio (state that title was issued).  They explained that thier records do not go back that far, and that they were unsure of the validity of this document. After a short leg of research, I was not sure which way to turn. However, on July 19th, Then things began to look up. On July 19th 2008 at approximately 1:00pm, I received a phone call from (901)-332-3322.  The caller on the other end was a lady who asked to speak with me.  She stated that she was in fact calling from Graceland and wanted to talk about a 1971 Plymouth Cuda. The caller informed me that in fact this Cuda with the VIN # BS23H1B365283 (she called the VIN out to me) was purchased via phone call by Elvis Presley. The caller stated that he picked up this car from an unknown dealership on 11-6-71 and drove it to Louisville, KY.  Caller stated that he gave it away to an unknown female after a Concert in Ohio on 11-11-71.  Caller stated that Graceland has been tracking this car to purchase from the current owner so that this story would NOT go public to distort the image of Elvis (who was married) to his fans.. This caller stated to me that she had been working at Graceland for over 20yrs. She also informed me that she would lose her job if I repeated any of this story. This Caller identified herself as Cindy (and would not give me her real name.) The caller told me that there were pics and paper work to prove this car and that she was going to contact me via email with the paperwork and pics. I have not heard back from caller as of yet.  After hanging up with Cindy on July 19th 2008, I waited about 1 hour and called the number back.  It was in fact the correct phone number for Graceland.  I asked to speak with "Cindy".  The switchboard operator stated that most employees are off on Saturdays as she asked if I knew what department she worked in.  I explained that I was not sure, but that Cindy had just called me about an hour ago.  This "Cindy" was never able to be located. ( this led me to wish I had the capability of recording calls that came in on my cell phone.) I then began more research to check out some of Elvis' Concert dates to see if there was even a chance that this information that Cindy told me was true.  Then, a friend of mine found the 1971 Elvis Concert Tour on line and emailed the link to me.  When I opened up the link, I saw that in fact Elvis Presley performed "Cleveland Rocks" Tour on 11/06/1971 in Cleveland OH. I almost fainted. Elvis actually was on tour hitting several locations in Ohio during November of 1971!  (see flyer in pics).  This brings me up to now.  It has most recently been recognized by Mopar Action Magazine June 2010 edition. If you are interested in this car, please do not hesitate to pick up a copy of this Mopar Action Magazine. Also, there have been a few who have covered this car's story and attempted to cover up or tarnish the facts. (I call this group the Haters). In the grand scheme of it all, there may be some stones left unturned.  Again, I agree that there is more ground to be covered with investigating the Elvis history of this car, but all is looking bright!"

Body: The body on this Cuda is solid and completely rust free which is the primary reason he had purchased it to begin with. I've known Joel for many years now and his goal was to find a solid rust free Cuda that he could build the car of his dreams. This is an all original sheet metal car which is just one more item that makes this Cuda rare. He has converted the paint scheme to a Sassy Grass Green Pearl base and covered with clear which was done professionally and shines out beautifully. There are no chips, cracks, or major blemishes through out the paint. The Rallye Hood with Hood Pins, Gilled Fenders, Road Lamps, and the Go-Wing are the originals which is what this Cuda came equipped with from the factory. The chrome through out the Cuda is also in excellent shape with no major pitting, dings, or scratches. The glass through out the Cuda is also in excellent shape with no major pitting or scratches. The underside of the Cuda has been undercoated as it was built to be enjoyed. The Cuda does have subframe connectors which were welded in professionally and was done so to reduce and any tension from the torque. The Cuda now sits on a new set of Boss 18" wheels which are wrapped in Z rated tires. We do have the original Rallye wheels which we will be sending with the Cuda.

Engine & Mechanical: This Cuda came originally equipped with a 340. It now is powered by a date code correct 1971 440 HP (High Performance) motor which was completely gone through and is pushing an estimated 500+ HP. It does not smoke, leak, or burn an excess amount of fluid. It has a High Performance Competition Cam and is being fed fuel from a new Edelbrock 850 carburetor which is covered by a Dual Snorkle Air Breather. The motor is cooled by a Griffin Four Row Aluminum Radiator. He had also replaced the ignition setup with a new MSD electronic ignition. The motor is backed by a fully rebuilt 833 four speed transmission with a Pistol Grip shifter. The transmission was completely gone through and is in excellent working order. It has a new Zoom 11" High Performance Clutch and Pressure Plate. The transmission does not leak, make any odd noises, nor does it burn an excess amount of fluid. The 8 3/4 Sure Grip rear end is geared at 4:10 and was also gone through. It too is in excellent working order. The power steering and power brake setup was also completely gone through. Both items consist of all new components and are in excellent working order. The Cuda does not squeal when turning nor does it pull or shake when braking.

Interior: The interior as you will see was also completely gone through. Everything is brand new or has been completely refurbished. The head liner, the bucket seats, the back seat, the carpet, the dash pad, the door pads both front and rear, it is all new and in excellent condition. The Cuda has been updated with a new Kenwood CD/MP3 player with a remote. It sounds fantastic that is of course if the Cuda is not running. All of the electrical components are in good working order. The head lights, tail lights, dash lights, turn signals, windshield wiper blades, everything is in good working order.

This Cuda was built to be enjoyed. You won't find another Cuda that packs this much power and has this kind of investment value behind it. You couldn't come close to building this Cuda for under 100k and you definitely couldn't purchase an Elvis owned vehicle for under a quarter million dollars. So don't miss out on this rare opportunity to pick up a piece of history. I strongly encourage anyone who is interested to please call or email to schedule a time to come check it out. I would also like to add that I am usually on the phone from 7 AM until about 12 AM so you are always welcome to call and if I do not answer, just leave a message and I will return your call immediately. I know from my own experience with purchasing cars online, most of the time it is very difficult to get someone on the phone and to obtain the information you need. So I try to always stay on top of emails and phone calls. I will also assist anyone with shipping. I have shipped many cars all over the globe and I am fairly familiar with the whole process so please, do not hesitate to ask any questions. As always, good luck and happy bidding!

Thanks,

Spotting Fraud: On a few occasions overseas scam artists have used our images and descriptions to attempt to pass our cars off as their own and dupe buyers into sending deposits.
