1970 NOVA WITH A MONSTER MOTOWN 454 PUSHING OVER 600 HORSE POWER ON REGULAR PUMP GAS!

     This car was obtained just over twenty years ago by two brothers with big dreams. It has spent the majority of its life within the same family and is now fully restored and cruising the streets. It is by far the meanest automobile within a sixty mile radius and is dependable enough to drive clear across the country with no problems.

Body: This Nova actually still retains most of its original sheet metal. The only sheet metal that has been replaced were both of the quarters and the rear window valance. The rest of the car is completely rust free and has absolutely no mud in it. It is as straight as an arrow. There has been one major modification to the roof of the car where a Moon Roof was installed. It was done professionally and does not leak. This Nova was professionally painted to a Daytona Sun Set Orange which is a 2005 Corvette color. The paint is absolutely beautiful and really makes the car look tremendous. It is truly something you would have to see in person in order to fully appreciate. The only blemish within the paint is a small chip within the trim of the moon roof which you can see in a photo located below. The trunk as you will see also has been modified for its eight gallon fuel cell. The floor pans are original and are completely solid. The glass through out the entire car is also in excellent shape with no major pitting or scratches. The chrome through out the car, the bumpers, the trim, it is also in fantastic shape and was all replaced during the time of the restore. As you will see located below the Nova does have a roll cage which was professionally installed and painted to match the exterior of the car.

Interior: The interior is all new from top to bottom (the door panels, head liner, both front seats, and back seat). All of the electrical components have been reworked and are also in top mechanical order. Everything works. The car also has a new CD player.

Engine: The engine in this monster Nova is none other then a professionally built Motown 454 from Bill Mitchell. It has been built on a short block and has been Dynoed at 615 HP with 590lbs of torque. Here are all the details on the motor:

  • World Block Billet Caps
  • Roller Cam
  • Eagle Rods, H-Beam
  • 4.250 Bore x 4.00 Stroke
  • Eagle 4340 Crank
  • 650 Demon Carburetor
  • Mallorie Ing.
  • Full receipts totaling more than 11k in just the motor alone.

The motor consists of all new components and runs out flawlessly. It does not smoke, leak, burn an excess amount of fluid, and it does not get hot. With an even bigger carburetor, one could easily squeeze far more horse power out of this built motor. The transmission backing this monster is a fully rebuilt Turbo 350 with a 3500 Stall converter. It shits out smoothly with zero problems. Both the motor and transmission have less than 1k miles on both. The rear end is a fully rebuilt 12 Bolt Posi with Richmond Gears (373). It also has Moser Axles and C-Clip Eliminators. The 12 Bolt actually came from a Camaro and has been completely gone through. It runs out flawlessly. The Nova also has Linelock disc brakes which are also new and in excellent working order. The Nova does not pull or make any odd noises when stopping.

     This is definitely a once in a life time investment for any Muscle car enthusiast. Why spend the money on something you can't enjoy when you can have something that is freshly broke in and ready to cruise! With over 11k in the motor and over 10k in just the body and paint, someone is sure to come away happy with this awesome Nova. I will gladly listen to all reasonable offers and should the right one come along then I will in fact sell the car early as we do have it for sale "locally".
