restored and ready to cruise.

can't go wrong with a fully restored big block 1970 440 Cuda!
Body:
The body on this car was extremely straight as well as painted in the
popular Sublime Green when we obtained it. From what we have gathered, we
believe the majority of the sheet metal is original. The only things we
have found to not be original are the fenders and quarters. We know that
these were replaced at some point in time. As far as the paint goes, we
did do some of the paint work. We did paint the underside of the car as
well as the flat black that you can see on the hood that leads back
through the top parts of the doors. The paint that was on it originally
was a gloss black and we felt it just did not do the car justice. We have
been contemplating adding 440 Hockey Stripes in the same flat black which
is an option I would like to leave on the table for any potential buyers.
As you can see, the car is missing the lower front valance but we have
ordered one and it will be installed prior to the car leaving our shop.
The car has a brand new dual Turbo exhaust system which is measured out at
2 1/4". It really gives the car an awesome sound and compliments the 440
very nicely. The glass through out the car is in excellent shape.
Unfortunately we did have to replace the front wind shield and because we
did not have any extra trim we ended up having it, as well as the rear
window professionally sealed in with rubber. The rest of the car does have
its trim in tact which is in great shape. The weather stripping through
out the car is also in great shape and needs nothing. We also replaced the
gas tank with a brand new one. The car sits on a set of 14 inch Rally's
which are wrapped in a fairly new set of tires. I'd say they are about
95%.
Interior:
The entire interior is brand new. From the headliner to the carpet, it has
all been replaced and is in excellent shape. Both of the front seats, rear
seat, door panels, and carpet were redone by our shop. The headliner was
sent off and was done professionally. The dash in this car is the original
from what we have gathered and is in excellent shape. We did not have to
do anything to it other then hook it back up. Everything from the turn
signals, wind shield wiper blades, dash lights, gas gauge, everything is
in good working order.
Engine:
The engine in this car came from one of our previous projects and is a
rebuilt 440 with about 500 miles on it. It is a 1977 block which has been
gone through. The motor does not leak, smoke, or burn an excess amount of
fluids. It is completely dependable and in excellent shape all the way
through. It is powered by a Holley 650 which is also in excellent shape
and has around the same mileage on it as it came from the same project as
well. The 727 transmission is also in excellent shape and does not leak or
make any odd noises. It shifts out smoothly and is completely dependable.
The car also has drum brakes all the way around which are also in
excellent shape. They work with ease and the car does not pull or make any
odd noises when stopping. The car also has power steering which is also in
good mechanical order. It does not leak nor make any strange noises. The
rear end is non-posi and has been gone through. It is in good mechanical
order and needs nothing.
Over all this is a whole lot
of car for very little money. It is in excellent shape all the way around
and is ready to cruise so do not miss this opportunity to get an awesome
big block Cuda before the end of Summer! As always, if you see something
