LOADED WITH EXTREMELY RARE OPTIONS SUCH AS ITS ORIGINAL FACTORY BARREL ROLL TACHOMETER, MATCHING 12 BOLT POSI, MATCHING MUNCIE FOUR SPEED TRANSMISSION, SUPER RARE BUICK SEATS, POWER STEERING, AND POWER BRAKES! ALL POWERED BY A TRUE 454/450 HP LS6! THE ENTIRE CAR IS MATCHING WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE LS6! THIS CHEVELLE RUNS LIKE A BEAST AND IS PUSHING WELL OVER 450 HP!      What we are offering is a true Super Sport (138 car) 1968 Chevelle. This car came come from the factory as you will see it below. With just one slight twist, it now has one of the few LS6 crate motors which has been completely rebuilt and is in excellent condition. The Chevelle is 100% rust free and ready to cruise!

Engine & Mechanical: The motor in this Chevelle is a real LS6 454. The block reads #T0707CRRGME608. The number on the back of the block reads #399289. It has been completely gone through and is in excellent shape. It does not smoke, leak, or burn an excess amount of fluids. It does run on regular pump gas (premium). When I tell you that this Chevelle is not for the faint hearted, I mean it. This Chevelle is scary fast and is as tight as a drum. Here are a list of details:

     The Chevelle also retains its original numbers matching Muncie Four Speed transmission. We have checked the numbers. If necessary, I will get the car on a lift and obtain a photo of this to anyone who is serious about purchasing. The transmission was also rebuilt when the motor was gone through and it too is also in excellent condition. It does not leak, make odd noises, nor does it burn an excess amount of fluid. The motor and transmission both have less than one thousand miles on them. The power steering setup has also been completely gone through and is in excellent shape. It does not leak nor make any kind of odd noises. The power brake setup is also fairly new and in excellent mechanical order. The Chevelle does not pull or make any odd noises when stopping.

Interior: The interior as you will see is factory correct (black) and has the rare Buick seats. Most of it has been completely redone. As you will notice, the drivers side seat does need to be recovered. The rest of the interior is in good shape. The passenger side seat, the back seat, the head liner, and even the door panels are in good shape with no tears, they are however missing the arm rests. The dash is also in excellent shape, it is not fading nor does it have any cracks. The carpet was actually just replaced this winter and it is brand new. The factory Barrel Roll tachometer is in good working order as it the rest of the gauge cluster. All of the electrical components through out the Chevelle are in good working order. The turn signals, dash lights, gas gauge, speedometer, brake lights, head lights, everything works.

Body: This Chevelle still retains the majority of its original sheet metal. The only sheet metal that has been replaced have been the fenders and quarters. It still retains its original floor pans, trunk, doors, rockers, rear sill, vinyl top, roof, etc. All of which are totally solid and free of rust & bondo. The Chevelle has been repainted one time and it was done back to its factory correct color. The paint shines very nicely as you will see within the photos located below. It was done professionally but it was also done years ago (late 90's). As you will notice, the quarters do line up nicely but there is one slight issue. When the quarters were spot welded, they were not completely grinded down so you can see very faint traces of this. It is hard to notice unless you are up close but if you look closely, you will see it. It is a simple problem that could easily be rectified. As you will notice, all of the chrome and glass are in tact and in excellent shape. There is no major pitting or scratches through any of it. There is however a couple of small dings in the lower side front bumper and the rear bumper is starting to fade in areas. The vinyl top is in excellent shape. The Chevelle has new rear springs as well as new upper control arms on the rear. Both the front and rear end have been completely gone through.

     This is the only Chevelle of its kind. Being that it is a fully loaded true SS with a REAL LS6 454! Just the motor alone is worth more then what we are asking. For those of you only interested in the motor, we will not be splitting up the two. I can tell you first hand that this Chevelle is absolutely gorgeous in person and the photos truly do not do the car justice. It is something you will need to see in person in order to truly appreciate it. I will gladly listen to all reasonable offers and should the right one come along then I will in fact sell the car early by adding a "Buy It Now" price to the auction. We do have the Chevelle for sale "locally". I strongly encourage anyone who is interested to please call or email to schedule a time to come check it out. I would also like to add that I am usually on the phone from 7 AM until about 12 AM so you are always welcome to call and if I do not answer, just leave a message and I will return your call immediately. I know from my own experience with purchasing cars online, most of the time it is very difficult to get someone on the phone and to obtain the information you need.
