1966 BIG BLOCK CHARGER!
ORIGINAL 383 and AC CAR! POWERED BY A FULLY REBUILT 440 375 HP MOTOR! ALL
ORIGINAL SHEET METAL!
Here it is
ladies and gentleman, a fully restored 1966 Charger that is powered by a
monster 440 big block. This car was obtained just over ten years ago by
the current owner and since then he has done all of the following.
Body:
This Charger still retains all of its original sheet metal. From back to
front and top to bottom, it is all original, solid, and as straight as an
arrow. The trunk and floor pans are completely solid and have never been
touched. The car was just repainted several years ago which is the only
time it has been painted and it was professionally painted the same
factory red it rolled off of the assembly line in. All of the chrome trim
is in excellent shape and needs nothing. The only blemishes consist with
the gas cap. There are no blemishes within the paint nor is there any
bubbling or rust. All of the glass through out the car is original and is
in excellent condition. All of the weather stripping is also in excellent
shape. As you can see in the photos, the trunk has never been repainted
and is completely unmolested. It has not been touched since the day it
rolled off of the assembly line and it truly shows just how solid this car
is. Both the front and rear bumper have been redone and shine up nicely.
Even the hub caps are the stock originals that came with the car from the
manufacturer.
Interior:
The interior as you can see within the photos is for the most part, all
original. Both of the front seats have been redone back to stock and are
brand new. Both of the rear seats are completely original and in excellent
condition with no stains or rips. The carpet was replaced during the same
time as the seats and is also in excellent condition. All of the dash
components are in good working order. Unfortunately the head light motors
do not work but the lights themselves do. The only real blemish with the
interior is within the dash pad. If you take a look at the photos located
below you will notice one crack through out the dash. The car still
retains its factory AM radio and also has a more modern CD player which is
in excellent working order. The dash was not cut up or molested for the
installation of the CD player.
Engine:
The drive train on this Charger is from a 1968 Chrysler New Yorker. It is
a 440 that has been completely rebuilt and rides out smoothly. It does not
leak or smoke and fires up every time. The 727 transmission is from the
same 1968 New Yorker and it too has been rebuilt and shifts out with zero
problems. The car has factory disc brakes on the front which help
tremendously. The car also has a newer gas tank with new fuel lines. The car drives out with zero problems. It does not pull when
driving nor stopping. The dual exhaust on the car was redone some time ago
and it does compliment the motor quite nicely.
This Charger is
by far an awesome piece of machinery and is ready to cruise. It does not
need a single thing other then a new owner who will appreciate it as much
as we have. I strongly encourage anyone who is interested to please call
and check it out for themselves. The photos just do not do the car any
kind of justice. As always, please feel free to call with any questions or
concerns.
Thanks,
Shawn 816.308.0351

Spotting Fraud: On a
few occasions overseas scam artists have used our images and descriptions to
attempt to pass our cars off as their own and dupe buyers into sending deposits.
Usually these deals are too good to be true, and for good reason. Scammers will
typically not be able to answer questions about the car, have a very low "buy it
now" price and will ask for a deposit. Once you send the
deposit they are never heard from again. If you spot one of our
vehicles or any other vehicle for sale with suspicious terms DO NOT
send the alleged seller money and please notify us immediately. We
will contact eBay security about any fraud we see, whether for our
cars or others.
This car is sold as-is where is, with no
warranty, as is true for all classic vehicles. Every attempt has been
made to describe this vehicle correctly. Any vehicle 10 years old or
older is considered exempt by federal government mileage standards and
most classics are titled with miles as exempt. I will be happy to
answer all questions from a serious bidder. Please feel free to
contact us at Help@mmbrokers.com or by phone and we will answer all of
your questions honestly. I have listed this vehicle as a 3rd party. If
I don't know the answer, I will make sure you get it!
Only serious bidders are appreciated and we
respectfully request that you ask all your questions prior to the
vehicle hitting the Reserve Price if possible. Once the reserve is met
it is also appreciated that you bid only if you are sure! No Bid
Retractions Without Notification! This Vehicle is subject to sale
prior to end of Auction. Seller reserves the right to cancel auction
at any time.
