Body: The body of this 55 was actually completely rust free when we obtained it. It is an all original sheet metal car and is as straight as an arrow. As you will see there was a lot of attention to detail. We actually shaved the drip rails along the doors as well as the trunk latch and replaced it with an electronic popper. The trunk opens and shuts flawlessly. We lost many of the original emblems to give it a much sleeker look. The only other sheet metal work that was applied to the car was sealing up the underside of the trunk where the spare tire compartment existed. It is now sealed up. The paint on the car is of top quality and looks absolutely fantastic. All of the chrome through out the car, the bumpers, trim, all of it is in excellent shape and is all new. The glass through out the car is also all new and in excellent shape. All of the weather stripping, all of it is brand new. The subframe to this awesome 55 is actually a fully refinished 1957 Belair Convertible Super Heavy Duty X subframe. As you will see in the photos below, we installed a stainless steel bent Mandrill 2 1/2 inch exhaust setup which compliments the 396 very nicely. The 55 just sounds tremendous! The air ride setup came from Air Ride Technology and consists of all new components. The front suspension consists of tubular A arms both top and bottom while the rear is another setup from Air Ride Technology which is a four link. We also installed a brand new gas tank with all new fuel lines. The entire front end is completely rebuilt and consists of all new components. The car sits on a brand new set of Torque Thrust II's with 20's on the back and 17's on the front. We have actually ordered a new set of 18's to replace the 17's. They should be here and installed before the 55 is ready to be shipped.

Interior: The interior as you can see was finished in the same color scheme as the exterior of the car. Everything is brand new from top to bottom and in excellent shape. The gauge cluster is a brand new setup and is in excellent working order. The power window setup is brand new and is in excellent working order. All windows roll up and down with ease, all by the push of a button. The I Divot tilt column is brand new and is in excellent working order.  All of the wiring through out the car is brand new. It is setup through a Painless 18 circuit wiring harness.

Engine: The 396 that is in this awesome ride is an original 1969 375 four bolt main motor. It has been professionally built and is in excellent working order. It does not burn an excess amount of fluids, smoke, or make any odd noises. The four speed is also in excellent mechanical order and has a hydraulic clutch. It shifts out smoothly with zero problems. Both the motor and transmission have less then ten miles on them. The motor is powered by a Demon 750 Vacuum Secondary Carburetor which is connected to an electric Holley fuel pump both of which are brand new and in excellent working order. Within the engine bay you will find a brand new HEI Distributor along with a brand new electric fan. Both of which are in excellent working order. You will also find a brand new power steering setup along with a brand new Vintage AC setup which blows ice cold! The rear end is a fully rebuilt nine inch posi that is geared at 355 and has new aftermarket axles. The 55 also is surrounded with Wilwood disc brakes which consist of all new components on all four wheels. The car brakes with ease with no pulling or odd noises.

     As you can see this is a whole lot of car and definitely one of a kind. So if you are looking for an awesome turn key hot rod that is of top quality then look no further. At our price, there is still a ton of room for someone to purchase it and make money if they so wished. I would also like to include a couple of options which we would like to offer to anyone who might be interested in modifying this 55. We have been contemplating taking out the four speed and installing an automatic with over drive. We have also been evaluating the idea of repainting the car to all black or all red. Again these are options that are on the table and we would love to discuss them with someone should they want to pursue such options. I would also like to add one more thing, the photos below truly do not do this car any kind of justice. I have had one person come out and look at it (they actually purchased a Cuda of ours instead) and they were completely blown away by it. I personally have driven this car and it just soars down the highway. It has so much power and is truly a treat to drive. Whoever ends up purchasing it will not be disappointed. We do have this 55 for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction should it sell early.
