1970 ORIGINAL PLUM CRAZY PURPLE CUDA! FULLY RESTORED, FROM TOP TO BOTTOM AND READY TO CRUISE! FRESH 440/375 STEEL CRANK MOTOR, FOUR SPEED, POWER STEERING, TORQUE THRUST II'S! JUST COMPLETED ON 10.24.2007!

    

Body: The body on this car was extremely straight as well as painted in its correct color scheme of Plum Crazy Purple. The paint work was done professionally and shines up very nicely. Almost every bit of the sheet metal is original with the exception of the rear quarters. It is all extremely solid and completely rust free. The vinyl top is also brand new and factory correct for this car. As you can see, the car was missing the lower front valance the day I took photos but we have since obtained a brand new one and it is now installed. The glass through out the car is in excellent shape. All of the trim and chrome through out the car is also in excellent shape. The weather stripping through out the car is also in great shape and is all new. We also replaced the gas tank with a brand new one. The car sits on a set of Torque Thrust II's (17's & 20's) which are wrapped in a brand new new set of tires. The only thing I can say about the exterior of the car is the luggage rack should be re-chromed. Other then that, it needs absolutely nothing.

Interior: The interior has been redone in white and is completely new. The door panels, headliner, carpet, both driver and passenger seat as well as the back seat are all redone and are brand new. Every square inch is brand new and needs nothing. The dash was taken out of the car and completely refurbished. It is in excellent shape and needs nothing.

Engine: The motor in this car is an early 70's 440 which has been professionally rebuilt. It is a steel crank motor and has less then ten miles on it. It does not smoke, leak, or make any odd noises. The transmission is a Chrysler 23 Spline four speed which is also brand new and backed by all new components which you can see in the photos located below. The car has a brand new dual Turbo exhaust system which is measured out at 2 1/4". It really gives the car an awesome sound and compliments the 440 very nicely. The rear end also was completely disassembled and redone. It is an 8 3/4. The car also has a rebuilt power steering box which is in top mechanical order. All of the wiring through out the car is also brand new. All of the electrical components are in top working order just as would be expected from a car of this caliber. The car also has new drum brakes all the way around which work with ease. The car does not shift, pull, or make any odd noises when stopping.

    Here is your chance to own a fully restored toy that you can actually drive and enjoy or pamper and show off. Either way this car can swing both ways quite easily and will definitely be a solid piece for any collector. This car is definitely something you would need to see in person in order to really appreciate it. I will gladly listen to all reasonable offers and should the right one come along then I will in fact sell the car early as we do have it for sale "locally".
