This 1970 442 is owned by a very good friend of mine who really did not have any intentions on selling his baby but as time moves on, so does his will to build another awesome Muscle car. He is a very talented individual and has ran our restoration shop for the past six years. He has built some of the baddest cars on the planet which you are welcome to check out under my "ME" page which can be accessed by clicking here. He obtained this 442 approximately two years ago from the second owners. He took this car all the way down to bare sheet metal and went through the entire thing and brought it to where you see it today. The original Gold on Gold setup was scrapped so that he could redo the car back to his high school 1970 442 with the blue and white setup. This car is absolutely astonishing and I strongly encourage anyone with interest to definitely come and see it in person. The sound it gives off mixed with its sleek appearance, the car is just mind boggling. I know Scott had spent many years searching to find the perfect 442 and when this one came along with its original paperwork and nearly perfect body, it was just too good to pass up. This car was just completed approximately six months ago and was taken out on this years Power Tour. It ran flawlessly through out the tour with out running in to a single problem.

Body: This 442 still retains most of its original sheet metal. When we obtained the car it had some very minor rust issues on the bottom sides of the quarters behind the rear wheels and on the lower front fenders. These areas were cut away and replaced with patch panels. All of the remaining sheet metal from the floor pans, to the roof are all original. This car is now 100% rust free. The body is as straight as an arrow. This 442 also has its original OW2 Ram Air Hood which is fully functional and in excellent condition. This 442 was originally gold but that color scheme was scrapped and we went with a 1969 GM Blue which looks absolutely gorgeous in person. It was done in a base coat clear coat setup and was done professionally. The majority of the chrome on this car is brand new. The bumpers and grill, brand new. The car has all new weather stripping. The doors shut with ease and line up perfectly. The windows also roll up and down with ease as they should. All of the glass is in excellent shape with no major pitting or scratches. The 442 is sitting on a set of brand new American Racing Torque Thrust II's (20's and 18's) and new tires. We also have the original set of wheels for this car which we will be including at the time of sale. The car also has an original spoiler, not a remanufactured spoiler. The 442 also has the electric trunk popper setup which is fully functional and in excellent shape.

Engine & Mechanical: The motor within this 442 is a correct 1970 date code 455 but is not the original numbers matching setup. It has been completely gone through and is in excellent condition. The motor does not smoke, leak, or burn an excess amount of fluids. It has been balanced and here are is a list of what has been done with this motor:

• B & M 2500 Stall Converter

• Aluminum Radiator

     The transmission in this 442 is a Turbo 400 and it too has been completely rebuilt during the restoration process. We also have the original numbers matching OW Turbo 400 which we are including with the car at the time of sale. The transmission is controlled by a new B & M automatic shifter. We also will be including the original  his and her shifter as well as the original console which are both in good condition and can bolt in easily as nothing was modified or cut out during the restoration process. The 442 still retains its original 342 Posi rear end which was also gone through and is in excellent working order. We are also including with the car, the original Box Lower Control Arms. The car now has aftermarket lift bars on it. The 442 also has a brand new Flowmaster Exhaust setup which compliments the motor very nicely. The 442 also has a new power steering setup and new power brake setup. Both are in excellent working order. The car also has its factory AC setup but is not hooked up. We will also be including the original W30 exhaust manifolds and factory air cleaner at the time of sale. Lastly, we do have the original F heads but we would like to hold on to them unless we can obtain a fair price for the 442. During this sale, we are not including them but we are open to negotiating if that will help seal the deal.

Interior: The interior as you will see below, has been completely gone through. New carpet, new headliner, front and rear seats have been completely redone, The dash is also in excellent condition as it has been refurbished as well. The only wear you will find through out the interior has been on the drivers side seat which could easily be cleaned up and the drivers side arm rest which needs to be replaced. It too was new but has sustained some wear since the restoration was completed. This 442 also came originally with the "light package" which is still in tact and in excellent working order. This light package included the map light, light on the rear view mirror, and lights on the bottom sides of the doors. All of the electrical components on this 442 have been completely gone through and are in excellent working order. The 442 also has a new CD player, amp, and LCD that folds out. All of which are in excellent working order.
