VERY RARE, ONE OF ONE, 1973 DODGE SE CHARGER! ALL NUMBERS MATCHING BIG BLOCK 400HP, PISTOL GRIP 4 SPEED, GUN METAL GRAY CAR! LOADED WITH AC, POWER STEERING, FRONT DISC BRAKES, 8 3/4 REAR END, MACHINE GUN EXHAUST TIPS, THE ORIGINAL BUILDSHEET AND FENDER TAGS! ONE OWNER OVER THE LAST TWENTY YEARS! VERY NICE TURN KEY CRUISER!
After some very extensive research, we have learned that this Charger is the only one to exist with these options. Approximately ten years ago it was completely tore down and fully restored. Today, it is a turn key power house that is a true blast to drive. So if you're looking for a premium investment grade vehicle but want to drive and enjoy it, this Charger may definitely be the car for you. We are including many additional parts with the Charger such as the original wheels, original radiator, extra set of brand new machine gun exhaust tips, the original intake, and carburetor, a practically new dash pad, trunk divider, and the original buildsheet. So on top of buying one awesome ride, you'll be getting just a slew of additional parts.
Engine & Mechanical: This Charger does in fact retain it's original numbers matching big block 400 HP motor. When the Charger was tore down, the motor was completely gone through. It was professionally rebuilt. Even today, I can go out, fire it up, and it puts out just as much power as it did the day it rolled off of the assembly line. The four speed transmission is also the original and is numbers matching. It too was professionally rebuilt and is in excellent working order. It shifts out smoothly and has absolutely no problems. It does not leak nor grind through gears. The front disc brake setup was also completely gone through during the restoration. The power steering setup, also completely gone through. The 8 3/4 rear end, another component that was tore down and gone through. All of the wiring and electrical components were also gone through during the restoration process. All electrical components are in good working order. The turn signals, gauge cluster, tail lights, head lights, every electrical component is in excellent working order. The only thing that is not functional is the AC. It was completely functional last Summer but this Summer the Charger was hardly driven. Today the Charger is just as turn key as it was the day it rolled off of the assembly line.
Body: The body on this Charger is completely solid. There is no rust anywhere through out the body nor frame. The trunk, floors, frame rails, quarters, fenders, rockers, rear sill, doors, the hood, roof, everything is completely solid and free of rust. All of the body panels line up smoothly. As you will see the Charger was professionally repainted back to its factory correct Gun Metal Gray. It does shine up very nicely and was done by a true craftsman. Now since the Charger has been driven, it does have its minor blemishes but it still presents very well. All of the chrome through out the Charger was also gone through at the time of the restoration. All of it is in good shape as you will notice within the photos.
Interior: The interior in this Charger was also completely gone through and done back to factory specifications. The seats are all in good shape as is the center console. When restored, the headliner was replaced, carpet, door panels were refurbished, seats were recovered both front and back, all of the wiring through out the interior was redone, rear package tray was replaced, and the dash as well as the gauge cluster were completely gone through. The dash today unfortunately does have a crack down the center of it. Aside from that, as you will see located below, the interior is in excellent condition overall.
